The Muncie Sportsplex is hosting a World Series Qualifier and State Qualifier on June 6th for Men's B,C,D, & E. This will be a 1 day tournament. The entry fee is $200 with $50 for each team going to the prize fund. ($35 for 1st and $15 for 2nd).

6th Annual BBQ Bash - Brackets Posted
The brackets for this weekends BBQ Bash are now posted. You can find them at www.munciesportsplex.net or www.nsanorthindiana.com. Gate fees for this weekend are $3/person (12&Under free). Each player will receive a FREE BBQ LUNCH! We will also have a homerun derby going on starting at 10:30am. The cost will be $5 for 10 swings. We will give a 50/50 cash prize for the HR Derby winner! Teams need to remember to bring a signed copy of their online NSA roster. Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your first game to check in. This is a hit your own ball tournament and .44/400 NSA approved balls must be used. We will have some at the park for sale if you need to purchase some.

Round Robin 4/4 - Game Times
Here is the complete schedule for Saturday's Round Robin.

The cost is $100. If your team is not playing in Spring league you will also have to pay a $25 NSA sanction fee.
This is hit your own .400 lb compression softball (last years 525lb balls are illegal!) I will have some for sale at the park.
I'm not sure how the fields will be after last nights rain. We'll try to get a better idea later this afternoon. If I don't know by then, we'll update sometime tomorrow morning the status.

ESPN 1340 "My Sports Show" to broadcast at the Sportsplex !
During the 2009 Season the Muncie Sportsplex has partnered will ESPN 1340 to be the site of "My Sports Show" and host Lorenzo Pettiford.
The show will broadcast live every Saturday morning from 10am-12pm at the Sportsplex.
With the show we will be doing several promotions for teams & players each week. Tons of prizes, MVP points and more will be up for grabs each Saturday morning! We'll have more details posted soon.
The first show will air Saturday April 11th. To kick of the new season and the show we will be hosting a BPA Baseball World Series Qualifier that day. In addition to the baseball tournament we will be having a Cornhole Tournament!
There is no entry fee for the Cornhole Tournament but there is a $5 gate fee during the tournament that day (so basically $10 per team).
The Cornhole Tournament will begin at 10am (registration between 9-10) and the winning team will receive 75 MVP points for every team entered and 2nd place will receive 25 MVP points.

Cornhole Leagues
The Muncie Sportsplex is now offering Cornhole Leagues Sunday-Friday. The cost is $40 per 2 person team. League will last 6 weeks and coincide with the schedule of our existing softball leagues. Team will play 15 games and a single elimination tournament. Each week teams will play a 3 game match against another team. Best out of 3 will win the match. If you sign up to play on a night that you also play softball we will work around your softball schedule the best we can. We will then play a "Tournament of Champions" between each leagues champion and tournament champion on the first Saturday after the league finishes. Below is a link to register for the league.
